Adjusts to You
The BOWSWIM® Tether Adjuster’s ability to maintain the body in a nearly horizontal position is changing the nature of water exercise. We suggest users achieve a horizontal position in the
water, and engage in a routine of upper and lower body exercises.
Installation
Installation requires the use of a power drill. If you are uncomfortable using power tools, contact your pool dealer, or a professional handyman service for assistance.
Looking for an EASY Install? BOWSWIM® attaches to your pool ladder.
Using the BOWSWIM® Ladder Attachment Clamp, installation could not be easier. Wrap the clamp around the pool ladder, close it, and you’re ready to go!
Our clamp can be adjusted to fit most circumferences. Use the spinning cam handle to adjust the inside diameter of the clamp to fit the outside diameter of the ladder or handrail where you want to place your BOWSWIM®. The ladder clamp must be installed on a horizontal section of the ladder or handrail.

Yes and no. If you have a ladder or handrail with a horizontal section where the water is deep enough to swim, we recommend adding the Ladder Clamp to your order if drilling isn’t to your liking.
If no ladder then you will need to drill a 1 inch hole in the pool deck. If you have a coping we recommend going into it on the away side of the water and at least 2 inches from that side. If you have straight concrete just go in it at least 6 to 8 inches away from side.

Always rinse off all Bowswim component parts with fresh water. Never leave Bowswim and the belt out in the sun for long periods. The sun will eventually cause the color to fade and cause material break down, especially if you swim in chlorinated water and don’t rinse the belt with fresh water after every use.
If you have a salt water pool, salt may build up on the Bowswim. Therefore, rinsing and drying after every use is VERY important. If the conical parts of the bow start to stick, wash with soapy water and rinse thoroughly until all slide easily again.
The BOWSWIM® belt may be washed in mild detergent.
Allow all components to dry thoroughly before returning to case.
Properly cared for, your Bowswim will provide excellent service for many, many years.
